Our Family & Students

We aim to provide an academically and behaviorally rigorous environment with a focus on core math and literacy instruction for the children of North Houston. We provide an intense focus on literacy skills to ensure that each of our students is reading on grade level by the end of second grade. Our intensive core literacy instruction then allows us to meet the individual needs of every Garcia student in the other core content areas.

Students at Garcia Elementary are provided with excellence and taught to have excellence in all they do. This constant pursuit of excellence lives within a culture of mutual respect and drives everything in our school community.
